The new CRIMEFACTORY is out peeps, issue #3, and I’m hanging out betwixt its virtual covers with all the cool kids. And I do mean cool kids. My short story, THIN MINTS, is wedged in there with shorts from the likes of DENNIS TAFOYA, JEDIDIAH AYRES, GREG BARDSLEY, KIERAN SHEA and SANDRA SEAMANS.
And to ice off that nasty little cake, you get the usual assortment of great features from hep cats like ROGER SMITH,
LEIGH REDHEAD, NASH EDGERTON, PETER TEMPLE, LIAM JOSE, DAVID HONEYBONE and THE NERD OF NOIR.
I’ve never been a short fiction guy, not until I got sucked into a couple of flash fiction things that I did on a lark. Keith Rawson, one of the kick-ass foreman at CRIMEFACTORY, read a couple of those and asked if I’d whip up something for them. How do you say no to a chance to hang with that crowd? And that’s where THIN MINTS came from. So props to Keith and the boys for providing this platform. It’s pretty heady shit for an unpublished pretender like me to rub elbows with this lot.
If you’ve got any comments on THIN MINTS, I’d love to hear them
